Paramus Minority Populations are Growing, Census Says

The Borough's population, according to the 2010 Census data, is 26,342. Asians, the largest minority in Paramus, now make up an even bigger chunk of the total population.

Their number increased from 4,434 to 5,869, and make up more than 22% of the population, compared to 2000, when Asians represented 17% of Paramus residents. Every minority group saw an increase in population, including Hispanics, who saw a more than 50% increase in their numbers.
