Police Memorial, Restaurant Plans This Week

A look ahead at the coming days in Paramus

The Paramus Police Department holds its annual observation of Police Officers Memorial Day on Tuesday. Each year the department pays tribute to the three Paramus officers who lost their lives while on duty.

Afterward the Mayor and Council hold a public meeting in Borough Hall. They are scheduled to vote to introduce an ordinance codifying the various fees for participating in recreation programs.

The Planning Board meets Thursday to hear the latest plans for the Equinox Fitness Center proposed on Route 17. The plans now include a fast-casual restaurant and more retail space.
