Question of the Week: What Could Have Been Done to Prevent the Shooting?

Mayor Richard LaBarbiera wrote a on Friday regarding last week's shooting that left a Paramus Police officer wounded and the shooter dead.

In it, he raised several questions, which we've lifted for Question of the Week: "Could we have done anything to prevent this tragedy? Can we do more to keep firearms out of the hands of troubled individuals? How can we make our society less violent?"
