PARAMUS, NJ — A Garfield man was arrested Monday after a road rage incident in Paramus, on charges he made terroristic threats and used a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Paramus Police got a call about a road rage incident on Monday morning around 5:30 a.m., according to a press release.

A victim reported a man had pointed a handgun at him with a red laser sight during a confrontation on Fairview Avenue near Shubert Lane. The suspect was driving a Jeep Wrangler.

Police detectives identified the suspect as Dennis Music, 51, who works in Paramus. Detective Daniel Cullen arrested Music at his place of employment and seized the handgun, which was actually an air soft gun.

Music was released on his own recognizance at Paramus Police headquarters.
