Stew Leonard's In Paramus Hosting Job Fair Saturday
400 jobs need to be filled for the store's October opening.

PARAMUS, NJ — Stew Leonard's is looking to fill more than 400 jobs at its Paramus location in advance of its October opening.
Stew Leonard's will host a job fair Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Paramus Park mall store. There are about 140 full-time permanent positions available in every department, about 180 are part-time.
You can even apply to be one of costumed characters that walk around the store and perform at kids' birthday parties. Some other positions that need to be filled are: Cake decorator, deli clerk, cashiers, and meat cutters, among others.

Candidates who are 18 and older should fill out an online application. The first 100 job fair attendees who fill out applications will be interviewed at the fair if they filled out.

Ground was broken on the 80,000-square-foot store in March.
The store's infamous one aisle will take customers through its bakery, butcher shop, and fresh seafood department.
Dairy and produce products will be locally sourced from New Jersey.
Stew Leonard's has six stores in Connecticut and New York. Stew Leonard's has been dubbed the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" by The New York Times, with its interactive animatronic characters, petting zoos, and entertainment.
