Thief Arrested After Fleeing Bergen New Bridge In Ambulance: BCSO
According to the sheriff's office, the man got into a private ambulance while it was unattended on hospital property.

PARAMUS, NJ — A man who had recently been released from a detox program at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center was arrested Wednesday in connection with the theft of an ambulance from the parking lot, officials said.
The Bergen County Sheriff's Office said 37-year-old Daniel Grant Wyres of Marlton faces a charge of theft.
According to the sheriff's office, Wyres got into a private ambulance while it was unattended on hospital property. He drove the ambulance onto Garden State Parkway southbound and was stopped by New Jersey state troopers just after 1 p.m., about 10 minutes after he left Bergen New Bridge.

Wyres is in custody of the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
