Wayfair Bringing Pop-Up Shop To Garden State Plaza For Holidays

Customers can learn how to tackle home improvement projects and design custom-made furniture.

PARAMUS, NJ — Wayfair, the online home improvement marketplace, will open a pop-up shop in the Westfield Garden State Plaza Nov. 1.

Customers can learn how to tackle home improvement projects at the "how-to" station and browse through fabric swatches to create their own custom furniture. They can also place orders for delivery.

Customer service and home design personnel will be on site to answer customers' questions.

The store will be open during mall hours through Jan. 2, 2019.

"For the first time ever, shoppers will be able to step into the world of Wayfair," said Ed Marcri, Wayfair's chief product and marketing officer. "We're excited to connect with shoppers face-to-face and introduce them to the endless possibilities in shopping for home."

The shop one one two coming to the East Coast this holiday season. The other is at the Natick Mall in Massachusetts.
