PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen Community College will continue their drive-up testing site in Paramus this week, and through the end of the month.

Dec. 1 was the first day of the initiative — a partnership between the county and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center — at Bergen Community College.

"As winter approaches, and cases continue to rise, it is critical that the County continues to provide testing for the foreseeable future," said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco. "Thanks to the efforts of and the County of Bergen, starting December 1st all residents will be able to receive free, quick, and easy COVID-19 drive-thru testing at the centrally located Bergen Community College campus in Paramus."

Tests are available this week on Wednesday and Thursday in Lot A at the college, located at 400 Paramus Rd.

Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and testing starts at 9 a.m., lasting until 2 p.m.

The drive-thru site uses COVID-19 Nasal Swab Antigen tests, which produces rapid results that allow residents to know how they tested in as little as 24 hours.

Testing is free to county residents regardless of health insurance status, according to Tedesco. However, a form of identification and proof of residency is required.

A test must be scheduled online, and no walk-ups are available. Register at this link:

"This battle is not over and we must remain vigilant until a vaccine is widely available," said Tedesco.
