West Brook Middle School Honors Veterans

West Brook Middle School in Paramus held its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 18. The ceremony was hosted by eighth grade students and honored local veterans. Students gave speeches which included their deep respect for veterans and paid tribute to their service defending the United States. Following the speeches, both the West Brook Middle School band and chorus performed. The event concluded with a reception in the school cafeteria where veterans shared their stories and memorabilia with students, teachers and the administration. Kathleen Krejsa, a West Brook social studies teacher, was responsible for arranging this event for students and the community.
