Who Did Paramus Students Vote For?
Nationwide, Hillary Clinton won in a landslide over Donald Trump, 57 to 32 percent, in Newesla's mock election.

PARAMUS, N.J. — More borough students voted for Donald Trump than did Hillary Clinton, results of a town wide mock election show.
Trump received 57 percent of the vote while Clinton received just 23 percent, results from Newesla show. Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein received 13 and 5 percent of the votes cast, respectively.
Newsela is an educational startup that is trying to bolster students' knowledge of current events and reading skills by integrating quizzes into news articles it creates daily for kids in grades two through 12. The articles are aligned with the Common Core curriculum.

Nationwide, more than 384,000 students in all 50 states voted. Clinton captured 57 percent of the vote, while Trump got 32 percent.
