New Bridge Vaccine Appointments Canceled Due To Shipping Delays
Thursday vaccine appointments at Bergen New Bridge were canceled due to a delayed shipment caused by winter weather, county officials said.
PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announced the postponement of vaccination appointments at Bergen New Bridge Thursday, citing shipping delays caused by winter weather.
"As a result of severe winter storms in the South and Midwest, Bergen County has been notified by the New Jersey Department of Health of delayed weekly vaccine shipments," he wrote.

Appointments scheduled for Thursday are to be rescheduled for Friday and Saturday, Tedesco said.
"The County apologizes for any inconvenience and ensures that all residents scheduled initially for Thursday, February 18th will still receive their vaccine," Tedesco said.

Winter weather is expected in New Jersey Thursday and Friday, with as much as 8 inches of snow forecasted in the Bergen County area, according to the National Weather Service.
Tedesco announced that COVID-19 testing at Bergen Community College has been canceled as well, ahead of the storm.
