2 Wine Spectator Award-Winning Restaurants Have Parsippany Locations
2 chains known for their wine selections received honors on the list that includes more than 3K restaurants worldwide.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Two restaurant chains with locations in the Parsippany area received honors on Wine Spectator's 2022 Restaurant Award list. Seasons 52 and The Capital Grille were among the honorees, which included more than 3,000 establishments around the world.
Wine Spectator's list didn't specifically include the Route 10 locations for either restaurant. But different Capital Grille and Seasons 52 locations were among this year's winners, and you can still find extensive wine selections at their Parsippany-area restaurants.
The Capital Grille in Cherry Hill earned a "Best of Award of Excellence" designation. The honor is given to restaurants that "go the extra mile," with lists of 350 or more selections from top producers, with a wide variety of regions and vintage depths. These restaurants might also carefully design the presentations of the list, train their staff to assist diners with the list and have curated wine dinners, according to Wine Spectator. Worldwide, 1,290 restaurants received the Best of Award of Excellence award.

Three Seasons 52 restaurants — the Princeton, Edison and Cherry Hill establishments — earned the Award of Excellence. The designation goes to restaurants that carefully choose their wine lists to have 100 or more selections, containing both quality and diverse wines, according to the magazine. There were 1,782 Award of Excellence winners this year.
