$261K Jackpot Lotto Ticket Sold In Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A $261,998 jackpot winning Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket was sold in Parsippany this week, lottery officials said. It was one of two jackpot winning tickets sold in the state.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, May 22 drawing were 05, 13, 14, 31 and 34 and the XTRA number was 03. One of two winning tickets was sold at Parsippany ShopRite on Route 46. The other was sold at the Wood Cliff BP in North Bergen.

Acting Executive Lottery Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Wood Cliff BP and Sunrise Shoprite of Parsippany. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
