28 Cell Tower Batteries Stolen: Parsippany Police

The stolen batteries are worth $6,300.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — 28 cell tower batteries were stolen from a Lake Shore Drive cell tower, Parsippany Police said.

The back-up batteries were reported missing Thursday afternoon, police said. Someone entered a fenced off area around the tower to take the batteries; police are not sure if multiple people were involved.

The stolen batteries are worth about $6,300 dollars, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Division at 973-263-4311.
