$50K Winning Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold In Morris County
Check those tickets - one purchased in Morris County is a winner.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Check your numbers! Somebody who bought an NJ Lottery ticket in Morris County won some big bucks.
A Powerball ticket sold at Quick Chek, located at 9 Howard Blvd., in Mount Arlington, generated $50,000 in the Dec. 2 drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.
The winning numbers were 28, 35, 41, 47 and 60. The Power Ball number was 03, with a Power Play of 2X. Winning numbers in the Double Play drawing were 06, 32, 37, 42 and 67 — the Double Play Ball number was 25.

Powerball's next drawing takes place Wednesday night, with an estimated jackpot of $435 million. The eventual victor can opt for an annuity doled out over 30 years. But most lottery winners choose the lump-sum option, which currently stands at $204.8 million.
Lottery winnings are also subject to federal taxes. Many states, including New Jersey, also tax winnings.

Powerball drawings take place at 10:59 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. New Jersey participants must purchase tickets before 9:59 p.m. to qualify. View the rules here.
