A search of the home found no occupants inside, officials added. No injuries were reported in the incident.

In an attempt to alleviate smoke and flame buildup in the home, crews broke a hole in the home’s roof.

Responding were Parsippany Fire Districts 4 and 5, the Boonton Fire Department RIC, Parsippany's Rockaway Neck Volunteer First Aid Squad, Par-Troy EMS, and Parsippany Police Department.
