PARSIPPANY, NJ — Residents will have the opportunity to take care of several New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission transactions close to home next month when the MVC's "Agency on Wheels" mobile unit visits Parsippany.
The Township's Constituent Services Resource Fair and town officials have partnered with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to host the mobile unit on Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parsippany Town Hall.
The traveling MVC office will offer several commonly requested services, including:
Appointments are required and can be made online here.
The mobile unit is designed to make MVC services more accessible by bringing them directly into local communities, allowing residents to avoid traveling to a traditional MVC agency for many routine transactions.
Residents planning to obtain a REAL ID should review the MVC's documentation requirements before their appointment to ensure they bring all necessary identification and proof of address. Appointments can be scheduled through the state's Mobile Unit Appointment Scheduling portal once registration opens.
