Here are some of the biggest items on the agenda:

Seven New Pickleball Courts

The council is scheduled to consider a resolution authorizing the installation of seven competition pickleball courts at a park on Parsippany Boulevard.

The agenda identifies the property as Block 421, Lot 25.1, but does not provide additional details about the project's cost, construction timeline, or amenities.

$2M For Water Tank Improvements

Council members will hold a public hearing and potentially take final action on an ordinance appropriating $2 million from the township's PFAS litigation fund for its 2026 water tank improvements project.

The agenda does not specify which tanks would receive improvements or provide a breakdown of how the $2 million would be spent.

Water infrastructure appears elsewhere on Tuesday's agenda as well. Officials are expected to consider contracts for the Replacement Well 20R treatment project and for the removal and replacement of ion exchange resin media.

Cannabis Rules Could Change

A new ordinance amending Chapter 119, Cannabis, of Parsippany's municipal code is scheduled to be introduced on first reading.

The meeting agenda does not describe the proposed changes, meaning the scope of the amendment is not yet clear from the agenda itself.

Vail Road Improvements

The council is also scheduled to vote on awarding a contract to Crossroads Paving for the Vail Road Improvements project.

The project is identified as a re-bid on the agenda, though the document does not list the contract amount or describe the planned improvements.

Construction Fees, Animal Control Rules Up For Final Vote

Several ordinance changes are also scheduled for second reading and public hearings Tuesday.

Those include amendments to the township's animal control and dog licensing regulations, fire prevention code and construction code fees. Separate ordinances address plumbing and electrical subcode fees.

The council will also consider changing its own rules of procedure.

The council's next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 20.
