Hills Athlete Among Honorees at NJAIAW Awards Event

Dana Farkas, a senior soccer and track athlete at Parsippany Hills High School, represented PHHS at the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women National Girls and Women in Sports Day banquet Jan. 27 at Seton Hall University.

Over 150 outstanding female student-athletes were honored as New Jersey celebrated this 21st annual state-wide awards ceremony. NJAIAW recognized high school and college female athletes who were presented with awards for making significant contributions to their school and institution and community through athletic accomplishments, academic success and community involvement.

Following the luncheon, all guests were invited to attend the Seton Hall University vs. Rutgers University women’s basketball game.
