Another Playa Bowls Coming To Morris County

The beachy smoothie bowl company is planning on opening up their second Morris County location.

PEQUANNOCK, NJ — Once just a boardwalk favorite, Playa Bowls is planning on opening their second Morris County location in Pequannock, northjersey.com reported.

The smoothie bowl shop opened up their first Morris County location in Morristown earlier this year. The Pequannock franchise location is set to open at 500 Route 23 North, but it's not clear when.

In the beginning, Playa Bowls were mostly found in beach towns (Belmar was its' first location), but have begun spreading inland. They currently have over 21 locations.

Most smoothie bowls are made with acai berries and a mix of other fruits, and sell for about $10 a bowl.

Patch has reached out to the owners for more information on their Pequannock plans, and will update when we hear back. Visit their website here.
