Barstool Sports 'Presidente' Praises Tabor Pizzeria
Dave Portnoy has reviewed and taken a bite out of countless pizzas. But Tabor Pizzeria's pie stood out.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has reviewed and taken a bite out of countless pizzas. But when he brought his "One Bite Pizza Reviews" series to Tabor Pizzeria, the local shop's pie managed to stand out.
As is protocol in the YouTube series, Portnoy opened up the pizza and took one bite. But the Barstool founder, nicknamed "El Presidente," was impressed before he even tried it.
"That looks pretty thin, and that looks really good," he said in the video review.

The pizza did not disappoint, earning a 7.9 out of 10 from Portnoy.
"Excellent, excellent pizza. I guess that’s why you’ve been around since 1986," Portnoy told the owner.

That's some high praise. A 7.9 score ties Tabor Pizzeria for 164th in One Bite's history, according to onebitepizzarankings.com. That's out of more than 1,000 reviews.
According to the website, the top-rated pie in New Jersey comes from DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan.
