Bat-apalooza, Green Fair Coming To Parsippany

The event will feature outdoor displays from local organizations, indoor educational presentations, live storytelling and arts and crafts.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A unique educational and interactive event is coming to town. The Parsippany Green Team will host Bat-apalooza and the Parsippany Green Fair.

The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Main Library (449 Halsey Rd.). This event will educate residents about the important role that bats play in the ecosystem and how people can help them. It will provide information on environmental-protection work from local organizations.

This family-friendly, free event will be held rain or shine.

Bat-apalooza and the Parsippany Green Fair will feature outdoor displays from local organizations, as well as indoor educational presentations, live storytelling, arts and crafts, games and prizes. This event will kick off National Bat Week from October 24 - 31, ending with Halloween.
