Girls Soccer Advances

Kayla Birth, Tiffany Kelly and Melissa Kelly each scored two goals to pace the Parsippany High girls soccer team past Ridgefield Park, 6-0, in the first round of the North 2, Group II tournament, according to NJ.com. Mae Noonan had two assists and goalie Lauren Scalfani added three saves for Parsippany (12-4-2).

Boys Soccer Eliminated

Two John Boyle second-half goals helped help the Rutherford boys soccer team eliminate Parsippany 2-0 in the first round of the North 2, Group II tournament, according to NJ.com. Ryan Daoud stopped 12 shots for Parsippany (4-13).
