Burglars Strike Deli, 2 Convenience Stores In Parsippany: Police
The suspects smashed the front doors of the businesses and stole vape products, cash, and cases of lottery tickets, said police.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Police are investigating several smash-and-grab burglaries at Parsippany convenience stores in the past week. Officials said four suspects reportedly broke the front doors of three establishments, and made off with cash, computers, lottery tickets and vape products.
Parsippany Police included information on the burglaries in their latest police blotter, noting that at least the two incidents on the morning of April 1 appear to be by the same suspects.
The first burglary was reported at Gene's Deli on North Beverwyck Road, around 1:26 a.m. on March 29. According to an initial investigation, four males arrived in a white car and smashed the front glass door. Once inside, they reportedly stole various lottery scratch-off tickets, vape products and approximately $200 in cash.

Police said a group of four burglars also broke into the Village Convenience Store and Victory Mart, both on Route 46, during the morning of April 1. They were seen in a white Audi sedan.
At the Victory Mart, two suspects entered the store around 12:33 a.m. after smashing the front door. The suspects stole lottery scratch-off tickets and the cash registers, and also damaged the lottery machine, officials said.

At Village Convenience Store, three of the suspects reportedly shattered the front window with a rock around 12:43 a.m.. They were all wearing black clothing, face masks, and white gloves. Police said they took 40 to 50 cases of lottery scratch-off tickets, $100 in cash, and a payment transaction computer.
Anyone with information on any of these burglaries is asked to call the Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Branch at 973-263-4300. The Morris County Sheriff's Office also was on scene to process evidence and investigate.
