The Friends of Parsippany Library will hold their Fall Book and Media Bag Sale from Noon on September 11 through September 28 at the Main Branch of Parsippany Library, 449 Halsey Road. The Bag Sale is open during all library hours. Bags will be provided, and customers can fill an extra-large cloth Friends Bag for $12 or a large paper bag for $6. Reuse your previously purchased Friends Bag and refill it for only $10. The sale will include Adult and Children’s books and CD’s, DVD’s and Audio Books. All proceeds will be donated to the Parsippany Library System and used at all three locations. Donations of good condition books and media are always welcome and can be dropped off in the Main Library whenever it is open. The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms

The Stickley Museum will celebrate fall harvest and the property’s agricultural history with its 14th Fall Family Day on Saturday, September 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Returning for the first time since 2019, Fall Family Day has been expanded and is the museum’s biggest family program of the year, offering a day of old-fashioned fun for the young and young-at-heart. Activities include a petting zoo, pony rides, pumpkin painting, games and races, handcraft demonstrations such as woodworking, embroidery and pottery, scavenger hunts, and craft activities. Performances by the Denville String Band will take place and food will be available for purchase through Apple Spice Junction.
Inside the Log House, guided tours will be suspended for the day. Families will instead be invited to explore the Log House at their own pace with volunteers and docents available to answer any questions they might have.
