Concert, Festival For Homeless Vets Returning To Aid Parsippany Org.

The VetFest Music & Food Truck Festival supports Community Hope for Veterans, a local nonprofit serving homeless vets.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A Parsippany nonprofit's festival supporting homeless veterans will return soon. The VetFest Music & Food Truck Festival will take place May 7 at Dave Waks Memorial Park in Wayne.

VetFest proceeds support Community Hope for Veterans, which assists homeless veterans and their families with mental health, housing and other needs.

This spring's event will feature 10 gourmet food trucks, six touring bands and bounce houses for the kids. See bands and food trucks here.

The event is slated for 12 p.m. May 7, with a May 21 rain date. Tickets are non-refundable. Dave Waks Memorial Park, formerly Barbour Pond, is located at 39 Barbour Pond Dr., Wayne.
