Doggy Day Care Opening In Parsippany Area

DENVILLE, NJ — Local pups will soon have a new place to congregate. The Wash N' Wiggle Pet Service Center, a pet-grooming business in Morris County, is opening a doggy day care.

Wash N' Wiggle is located in Morris Plains. But the Canine Kids Club will open March 1 on 180 E. Main St., Denville.

Terri Tarrantino, the "club" manager, has more than 20 years of experience in supervising dogs in day-care environment. Tarrantino used to run the Doggy Day Camp at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, according to Wash N' Wiggle.

The day care will have half-day (up to five hours) and full-day (up to 10 hours) playtimes available. Half days will cost $29 with tax ($31 total), while full days cost $39 with tax ($41.50 total). The business also offers a pet taxi — $8 one way or $15 round-trip.

The Canine Kids Club will hold open houses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, before Wednesday's grand opening.
