MONTVILLE, NJ — The Morris County Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating a drowning death in the Rockaway River, a spokesperson confirmed. A body was found in the river behind the Mundi Outlets in Montville Thursday afternoon. Spokesperson Peter DiGennaro confirmed the death is under investigation, but declined to provide specifics. The Montville Township police department declined to comment Friday morning. This is the 18th confirmed drowning in the state since May.
