Ex-Employee Sues Parsippany's Hennion & Walsh for Sexual Harassment

A female employee who says she was fired from financial firm Hennion & Walsh in Parsippany has filed a lawsuit alleging the company’s founders made sexual advances at her and terminated her employment when she complained about it.

Kelli Lakicevic has filed suit in New Jersey State Court out of Bergen County against the firm and its founding partners Richard Hennion and William Walsh, according to law360.com.

In the suit, Lakicevic says the work environment was like that of a college frat house, involving “alcohol-fueled hazing incidents and sexual overtures” that created a hostile work environment, the report said.

Lakicevic also said both founders personally made advances toward her and paraded her around the office for visitors while they commented on her looks, the report said.

Lakicevic was hired in August 2012 as an employment recruiter and was fired during a heated argument in February 2014.
