Fashion Show Raises $11,000 For Progeria Research In Mountain Lakes

The event benefits Zoey Penny, a 7-year-old with progeria.

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ— The 8th Annual Team Zoey / Mountain Lakes High School Fashion Show had a strong showing this year, raising nearly $11,000 for progeria research.

The annual fashion show is done in honor of Zoey Aster Penny, a seven year old who lives with progeria, a disease that ages people many times faster than usual.

There's currently no cure for progeria, but the Progeria Research Foundation, which the fashion show benefits, hopes to change that.
