Fire At Reservoir Tavern In Parsippany Causes Evacuation

The building appeared mostly undamaged.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A chimney fire caused the evacuation of the Reservoir Tavern Thursday night in Parsippany.

The fire, which happened around 7 p.m. on Thursday night, was caused by an exhaust fan on fire in the chimney. Firefighters from District 6 and District 2 were on hand to take care of the fire.

There were no injuries, and the building did not appear damaged, the Daily Record reported.

The Reservoir Tavern is much loved in town, and has been open since 1936. It's known for its award winning pizza.
