Flooding Closes All Lanes On Route 287 Friday Morning

BREAKING: Parts Of Route 80 and Route 46 are also blocked.

MONTVILLE, NJ — Heavy rain is causing a messy commute Friday morning, as flooding has shut down Route 287 and blocked parts of Route 80 and Route 46.

Route 287 is closed in both directions north of Exit 47 in Montville, according to 511NJ.org. All lanes are being detoured.

I-80 Westbound near Ext 43 has two lanes closed due to flooding. Drivers can expect delays, according to 511NJ.org.

Route 46 Westbound between North Beverwyck Road and Baldwin Road was closed this morning due to flooding in Parsippany, police said. It reopened at 10:25 a.m.

Madison Police have warned residents against all unnecessary traveling until later in the day.
