Garcia, Herrmann Lead Girls Volleyball

Girls Volleyball Advances

Luisa Garcia had 14 assists and Nicole Herrmann had 16 digs and five kills to lead the Parsippany girls volleyball team past West Essex, 2-0, in the first round of the Group 2 state tournament, according to NJ.com. Parsippany will face No. 1 seed River Dell on Thursday.

Girls Field Hockey Falls

The Parsippany girls field hockey team was eliminated from the North 1, Group II tournament with an 8-0 loss to West Essex, according to NJ.com. West Essex improved to 18-1, while PHS fell to 9-9-1.
