MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — You're never too old or young to celebrate, or get scared. There's plenty to do in Morris County this Halloween weekend.

Outside of the traditional trick-or-treating, here are five things to do this weekend:

Halloween at the Burying Yard in Hanover

Find out what's happening in Parsippanyfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Dress up and come out for a tour of the 300-year-old graveyard. Members of the local preservation commission will lead this Halloween tour in costume. There are Revolutionary and Civil War soldiers buried at the site, along with Whippany's founders. The event costs $20 and runs from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the Whippany Burying Yard (325 Route 10 E, Whippany). Find more info here.

Halloween Scavenger Hunt

Join the Chester Library for a family scavenger hunt and the chance to meet Tinkerbell. All children will receive a (candy-free) goody bag. Register as a family — one slot per family, as there are time slots every half hour. This event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chester Library (250 Main St., Chester). Fall Food Truck Festival at Ort Farms

Join Ort Farms for its end-of-season food truck festival, featuring several food trucks and Jersey Girl Brewing. The event takes place outdoors, rain or shine, so dress accordingly. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Click here for tickets and more info.

Halloween Half Marathon and Relay

Get in your running gear and/or a costume for the Halloween Half Marathon in Morris Township. The event begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at Ginty Field in Morris Township, finishing in the same place. Find more info here.

Spooky Story Hunt at Fosterfields

Explore Fosterfields Living Historical Farm with a spooky-story scavenger hunt. Search, sing and play your way through five classic stories. Complete all the story activities and win a prize. The event costs $10 and runs from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, along with 1-3 p.m. Saturday. Find more info here.
