Hanover BJ's: What We Know So Far

Since we first told you about the BJ's, a gas station and cryotherapy center have been announced. Read more about all the developments here.

HANOVER, NJ — A BJ's Club Shopping Center was first announced for Hanover back in January, and with recent announcements from the nearby Hanover Crossing, people have been clamoring for more information on the BJ's.

The BJ's is being built in the old Litton site, across from the Mennen Sports Arena, after being closed for 20 years due to environmental concerns. The shopping center will be on Hanover Ave between Horse Hill Road and Martin Luther King Avenue and the American Road.

“The Shopping Center will be developed in three phases, with the BJ’s development hopefully getting underway this year,” the Daily Record reported Mayor Ron Francioli as saying in January.

An Orangetheory Fitness and Clarus Cryotherapy are expected to open in the same center as BJ's. Two other storefronts have not been leased out yet.

An opening date has not been announced for the BJ's yet. Patch has reached out to RD Manegment, the leasing company for the site, and will update when we hear back.

The BJ's will be easily accessible for thousands of people. According to RD Management, 129,015 people live within five miles of the shopping center.

The stretch of Hanover Avenue the BJs will be built on currently includes a ShopRite. The nearby Hanover Crossing will have a variety of stores, including a TJ Maxx and an IHOP.
