It's Official: Trader Joe's Is Coming To Parsippany

This will be the popular grocery store's third location in the county.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — After weeks of rumors, it has been confirmed that Trader Joe's will open a new location in Parsippany.

Trader Joe's spokesperson Nakia Rohde confirmed with Patch on Thursday that the massive grocery chain will be opening a location in Parsippany.

Rohde added that there is no location or opening timeline to share at this point.

However, the New Jersey Hills Media Group has speculated that Trader Joe's will open in the Morris Hills Shopping Center on Route 46.

This will be Trader Joe's third location in Morris County, following spots in Denville and Florham Park.

Founded in California in 1967 by Joe Coulombe, Trader Joe's underwent a massive expansion in the 1990s, truly becoming a go-to grocery empire in the 2000s. The company now has more than 600 stores across the nation.

It's best known for its exclusive snacks and frozen meals, including its Corn Chip Dippers, Chocolatey Coated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers, Mandarin Orange Chicken, and Cacio e Pepe Gnocchi, to name a few.

Shoppers can also enjoy Trader Joe's-brand seasonings, candy, dips, juices, and more. Some locations often offer Trader Joe's-brand wine and spirits.
