Lake Hiawatha Swim Team Dives Into Summer Competitions

The team competed against Chester at its first meet of the season at our home pool.

The Lake Hiawatha Swim Team kicked off its first meet of the season at our home pool on June 26, 2019 racing against Chester.

The team is coached by skilled swimmers who provide technical advice and lots of encouragement. This year's Head Coach is Francisco Vazquez.

Francisco is on the Montville High School Varsity Swim Team and has been lifeguard certified since 2017. Francisco has been a member of Lake Hiawatha Swim Team since 2016 and a swim instructor for Lakeland Hills YMCA. Francisco is also the Captain Elect of Montville’s First Aid Squad and will be participating in a Biomedical Engineering Scientific Research Program at NJIT this summer.
