Lake Hopatcong Man Reportedly Dropped Baby, Posted About It On Facebook

The baby was reportedly treated for a brain bleed in the pediatric intensive care unit as a result.

JEFFERSON, NJ— A Lake Hopatcong man reportedly dropped a five-month-old baby, allegedly posting the truth on Facebook after lying to investigators, according to the Daily Record.

Brendon Miller, 25, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child after reportedly dropping an infant on Feb. 16. The child was admitted treated at the pediatric intensive care unit with a brain bleed as a result of the fall, the report said.

Police learned of the drop from a Facebook post weeks later, where Miller allegedly admitted to dropping the child. Miller apparently did not tell police that during an interview. It was unclear what his relationship to the child was.
