Lucky in Lake Parsippany: General Store Sells $148K Winning Lotto Ticket

Someone’s summer just got a little sunnier.

A Lake Parsippany General Store customer is now $148,789 richer after the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Thursday, Aug. 14 had one ticket matching all five numbers, according to New Jersey Lottery.

The General Store on Kingston Road will now receive a $2,000 bonus check for being the merchant of the winning ticket, with the numbers 11, 14, 15, 17, and 31.

The name of the winner has not yet been revealed.

Another $76,220 was won by 3,275 players who picking four of the five numbers and three of the five numbers correctly. Second prize was worth $493 and third prize was worth $10 for each ticket.
