Major Highway Ramp In Morris County To Close For 3 Nights

Drivers in Parsippany should expect overnight delays this week as crews continue work on an $8.5 million bridge painting project.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Drivers traveling on I-280 westbound in Parsippany will face overnight ramp closures for three consecutive nights this week as crews continue bridge maintenance work, state transportation officials announced.

The I-280 westbound ramp connecting to I-287 and Route 46 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights this week, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT).

The closures are necessary to paint the I-80 eastbound bridge over I-280 and Route 46 as part of a larger preventative maintenance project, officials said.
