You've heard of a snow day. Now how about a de-stress day? Roxbury Public Schools will get one next week.
ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ ā You've heard of a snow day. Now how about a de-stress day?
The Roxbury School District will get the day off Dec. 10 to help unwind before the holidays. Superintendent Dr. Loretta L. Radulic said in a note to families that while this year has provided a more typical school experience, it hasn't quite been normal and can get exhausting.

"It is our sincere hope that our families will be able to use this gift of time to take a moment to enjoy the season, take a breath, and enjoy a long weekend amidst the bustle," Radulic wrote. "We hope that this early notification will provide the time needed to make any arrangements necessary."
Radulic gave families a quote from Eckhard Tolle to consider: āAcknowledging the good that you already have in life is the foundation for all abundance.ā

She said they've been fortunate to attend school in-person this year, and "we canāt forget that we were among the first school districts to provide this opportunity for our community last year."
New Jersey schools returned to full-time, in-person education this year. But masks remain required in grade-school buildings. Gov.
