Morris Co. Woman Killed In Route 46 Crash
Authorities pronounced a 25-year-old Netcong woman dead at the scene.
ROXBURY, NJ — A woman was killed in a crash Tuesday morning on Route 46 in Roxbury, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. A 25-year-old from Netcong was pronounced dead at the scene after her car collided with a truck, authorities said.
Officials didn't publicly identify the woman. They were in the process of notifying her next of kin as of Tuesday night.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Route 46 and Phillips Way. The truck was exiting the Citgo gas station onto Route 46 West, according to the prosecutor's office. While the tractor portion of the truck was completely in the road, a car traveling on Route 46 East crashed directly into it, authorities said.

The woman, who was the car's only occupant, succumbed to her injuries. No one else was hurt.
The Roxbury Police Department, Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating the crash.
