New Mediterranean Fusion Eatery Opens In Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Those looking for a twist on Mediterranean cuisine are in for quite the ‘saprize,’ because a new joint in Parsippany is doing just that.

“Saprize, Saprize” is a newly opened restaurant located at 176 Parsippany Road in the Green Hills Shopping Plaza. The establishment just had its grand opening on Sunday, and around 900 people joined to claim their free “Smackwich and Fries.”

The restaurant flaunts its authentic Mediterranean cuisine, offering delights like chicken, gyro, and a crispy falafel rice platter, to name a few.

What sets the restaurant apart is its spotlight menu item, the Smackwich. Inspired by Nashville hot chicken, the Smackwich comes in varying degrees of spice for sandwich lovers to enjoy.

“You might be looking for a "Surprise," but we spell it with an "A" because we deliver A-Plus flavor and quality in everything we serve,” the restaurant’s website reads. “From our signature spicy heat to our refreshing cool downs, we are the ultimate destination for food lovers who want the best of both worlds.”

Saprize, Saprize also offers a number of refreshing drinks to cool down the spice from a Nashville-hot Smackwich. Choose between a variety of milkshakes or smoothies on its menu.
