New Sushi Bar In Parsippany To Host Grand Opening
The restaurant is the latest addition to Parsippany's new commercial district.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — The latest addition to Parsippany's new commercial district will be hosting a grand opening soon.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar will officially open its doors on Aug. 21. The establishment offers sushi on a conveyor belt that goes around the entire restaurant, and customers can sit and wait for their favorite sushi and sashimi to come right to their tables.
The high-tech Japanese eatery is one of the many new establishments set to open up in Parsippany’s District 15Fifteen strip.

On Aug. 21, the first 150 seated guests will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Additionally, Kura Sushi Rewards members who check in and dine between Aug. 21 and Aug. 23 will be entered to win a “Kura Sushi for a Year," $300 gift card. Five winners will be selected.
"At our restaurant, you pay by the plate. Our indoor dining experience features a Revolving Sushi Bar, which allows you to select dishes you see as they float by, as well as an Express Belt for selective orders delivered tableside," a statement read. "Each sushi plate is the same set price per location, and we also offer udon, ramen, side dishes, and desserts at varied price points."

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar NJ locations include Edison, Cherry Hill, Fort Lee, Jersey City, and Paramus. Its District 15Fifteen location will be the first in Morris County.
The restaurant offers a plethora of sushi and sashimi options, including classics such as California Tuna Rolls, as well as more intricate bites like Seared Eel with Miso Cream Cheese and the Spicy Popcorn Shrimp Roll. All sushi plates will be priced at $4.10, with other dishes varying in price.
Those who aren’t a fan of sushi also have plenty of options, including sides like chicken gyoza dumplings or vegetable tempura. There are also several options for soups and noodle bowls.
The establishment also offers take-out and delivery options.
“Only the finest Japanese ingredients,” a statement read. “Kura Sushi’s dishes adhere to the Japanese virtue of serving natural and healthy meals prepared with fresh, premium ingredients.”
