All schools in the Parsippany school district are closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 in an anticipation of a November nor’easter that could wallop the area.
The district made the decision early Wednesday morning as the storm began to roll in. The National Weather Service forecasts anywhere between five and 12 inches of snow blanketing the area between daybreak and midnight.
The school district was scheduled to operate on an early dismissal schedule Wednesday leading into the four-day Thanksgiving weekend. This is the first of four allotted snow days built-in to each school calendar.
