Par Hills High Ranks 82 In NJ By Schools Review Site
Data and student, parent opinions factor into methodology.

One of Parsippany’s two high schools has reached a high mark, being ranked among the state’s best institutions.
In its 2015 nationally-compiled list of top high schools, niche.com ranks Parsippany Hills High School as number 82 in the state, with six “A” grades and four “B” grades in a variety of categories.
Parsippany High School was not ranked in the top 100 list.

In 2014, New Jersey Monthly Magazine ranked Parsippany Hills High School number 58 in the state, which was a major slide from 23 in the publication’s rankings from two years ago. In that same ranking, Parsippany High School dropped from 86 to 105 out of a possible 339 high schools.
Niche.com’s methodology wasn’t just based on statistical data like graduation rates and test scores; it includes student, parent, and alumni opinions from surveys given.

The website used “data sourced from various government and public data sets, Niche’s own proprietary data, and 4,625,227 opinion-based survey responses across a variety of topics from 287,560 current students, recent alumni, and parents.”
