Par-Troy Little League East Moves Closer to State Title Monday

Winning both games in a Sunday doubleheader, the 11/12 All-Stars take on Nottingham in Pequannock Monday.

The next game en route to theĀ Ā will be Monday night. Competing are the Ā 11/12 All-Stars versus the All-Stars of Nottingham.

Parsippany's team lost to Livingston American, 11-2, in Friday's tournament opener, but earned its spot in the finals by winning both halves of aĀ double header Sunday against, respectively, Monroe Township and, again, Livingston American. The boys had to play two games after Saturday's schedule was washed out due to rain.

Being a double-elimination tournament, the Par-Troy East team must beat undefeated Nottingham twice in the finals to take the title. Should it win Monday, game two of the finals must be played Tuesday night, and the winner of that game will be crowned the champ.
