Par-Troy Restaurant Delivery Service Set to Launch

Friday is the day: Parsippany and Denville residents and businesses looking for food delivery can call on to meet their gustatory needs.

Company president and CFO Daisy Garcia says three area restaurants are participating in the new business' service, which allows customers to access menus and order food through its website.

So far, has contracts with Denville-based Mara's Cafe & Bakery and Rattlesnake Ranch Cafe and Newark catering company R&R International Cuisines.

Garcia said her company hopes to add even more area restaurants to provide greater dining diversity for the public.

"We are very excited to launch and provide this greatly convenient service," she said. "Our lifestyles has changed so much as a society and our time is squeezed every day. We hope our service helps businesses and busy people in the area by allowing them to get delicious restaurant food when and where they want it without worrying about getting dressed up to dine out, having to bring young children out or having to leave their desks on busy days."

Garcia said customers who visit the Dining Around website have the choice of ordering for delivery, take-out or grouop ordering.

"While the delivery and take-out options are amazing, we are thrilled about our Group Ordering feature," Garcia explained. "Now the busy office manager or meeting organizer can simply choose this option and an e-mail is sent to all the parties on the order. The invited individuals choose what they want and the order is then placed with us.

"It takes the legwork out of office lunch orders and lends more time to do something else."

Online orders can be placed on Dining Around 24 hours a day, seven days per week. And customers who prefer using the telephone to place orders can do so during specified times for weekday lunch and seven days per week for dinner.

Garcia said catering is another Dining Around priority. She said corporate lunches, events and social gatherings can all be handled through the delivery service.

"It's a massive undertaking to plan these kinds of events," the entrepreneur said. "We want to make it as simple as possible by providing the menus and allowing customers to place their order with ease."

Dining Around menu guides will be delivered throughout Parsippany and Denville over the next few weeks, Garcia said. She added that the guides will be updated and distributed twice yearly as menus change and restaurants are added. The newest menu guide will be downloadable from the website.

Garcia said the company is instituting a customer reward program that allows people to earn points every time they place an order from Dining Around. The points, she said, can be redeemed for food from member restaurants. 

Additionally, gift certificates and gift cards will be available for sale, she said.

"We are looking forward to serving the residents and businesses of Parsippany and Denville," said Garcia. "Our hope is to expand this service to all of Morris County and beyond so everyone can have great restaurant food when and where they want it."
