It's 'Play Ball' for Par-Troy West Llittle League
More than 1,000 kids strutted their stuff in honor of the little league baseball season's opening day.
A packed crowd was on hand for the 2012 opening day for the Par-Troy West Little League.
The event, held at the league's stadium at Lake Parsippany Park on Elmwood Road, was a festive affair featuring music, food, and lots of happy kids proudly showing off their new baseball and softball uniforms.
On hand for the event were dignitaries including Mayor James Barberio, the entire Township Council, Freeholder Ann Grossi and Sparkee, the mascot of the Somerset Patriots minor league baseball team.
