Parsippany-Area Lottery Ticket Wins $152K

BOONTON, NJ — Check your numbers. Somebody shopping in the Parsippany area just won a good chunk of money.

A lottery ticket sold at Acme in Boonton (550 Myrtle Ave.) netted $152,481. The winning numbers were 17, 19, 31, 34, and 35, with an XTRA number of 05. The winning ticket matched all five numbers from Saturday's drawing.

This comes just a few weeks after a ticket at Wegmans sold for $280,339.

Parsippany has been home to some notable lottery jackpots. Baldwin News & Food Store sold a $1 million ticket in March 2019. Parsippany News & Food Store, last August, sold the ticket that won what was then the second-largest Jersey Cash 5 jackpot ever, netting $1,813,783.
